    • Restoration Timeline

      Step by step process of a Casio W-350C Marlin being restored.

      This is the Case and button set to be used for my W-350C (152) Marlin restore. We will need a case back and working 152 module.
      W-350 donor module (152) and case back
      Time to grind and polish the case and case back to a mirror shine, as well as clean, inspect and replace any bad button parts.
      reassemble the buttons and lube or replace all gaskets
      disassemble, inspect, clean, reassemble and test the 152 module. Replace any parts if needed.
      I was able to score a NOS W350 crystal on eBay. That was a lucky day. Time to install it using a crystal press.
      The Casio W350-C looking brand new. NOTE: "C" designates that this watch will have the resin strap instead of a stainless steel band. Now, to find one.
      I found the OEM Casio strap (20MS) on eBay, the exact strap to complete the W350-C restoration. What a lucky day that was.

      Step by step process of a Seiko SKX007 being modified

      My stock Seiko SKX007 needs an upgrade. Think I'll go "Red and Black."
      Laying out the parts and planning the mod
      I added a SI NH36 movement with hacking and hand winding features not found in the original 7s26. I also replaced the white "day and date" wheels with black.
      It's ready for the new chapter ring, crystal and bezel insert.
      Added a CT Double domed sapphire crystal with red AR
      Added a ceramic bezel insert with red accent
      Time for the dual tone Barton Silicone strap
      I thought it was finished, but we need to add one more tiny accent piece.
      Installing a CT red "S" crown and stem with triple gaskets.
      The fully modded SKX007 Red/Black.
